CITY WALLS

$2,500.00

This Painting has been reproduced for an outdoor gallery project at the Anna Lamar Switzer Center for the visual Arts in Pensacola Florida. I am the first living contemporary artist to be added to the collection.

While living in New York city I was attracted to the texcture of graffit and Bills that that covered the surfaces of the city. I would often took pictures of spots that in my mind had become a piece of art on thier own. The roughness drew my eye toward them to inspect further. Creating from my memories of these images CITY WALLS was born. Each layer has its own origin story. I wanted to channel the thoughts of the many people that touched that wall.
