Gerard Frank has spent 26 years as a professional artist. He has work in the permanent collection of the Anna Lamar Switzer Center for the visual Arts, with the honor of being the first living artist to be added. His work has also been added to the permanent collection of The Lofts Gallery in Pensacola Florida, as well as a prestigious lobby in NYC on Central Park West. Collectors of Gerard Frank’s work span from coast to coast including Miami FL, New York City’s SOHO district, Long Beach CA., St Petersburg FL,  Pensacola Florida, and also overseas in Germany. He has spent more than 2 decades perfecting images for the human body as a tattoo artist, while also owning and operating his own tattoo shop. While tattooing for 24 years he has amassed a large body of work shown in multiple galleries across the US. Gerard Frank has a background as a self studied painter and as a commercial production screen printer developing products for many clients including Hewlett Packard, Boeing, and Lucent Technologies. He specialized in flat work, printing on plastics, metals, wood, and glass items that were applied to rockets and aircraft carriers. He credits his previous commercial printing process as the transition into his current abstract work as abstract art has been a part of his life since his early teens. He now splits his creative time creating for his fine art collectors and for his tattoo clients that span the globe. He credits his wife Teri for encouraging him to go outside of his comfort zone in all artistic areas. There are no limits to creativity. Your ideas can take you anywhere you wish them to.
